About the project
The client approached us to help them set up their online stores on the following platforms - Shopee, Lazada, and Tiktok. With a limited budget, we knew that going all out was not possible, that is why after we created their online stores, we focused on making Shopee platform work for them.
To deliver, we focused on the following objectives:
- Get their Shopee store in the "preferred seller" status to increase their organic discovery or reach on the platform
- Increase the store traffic and discovery through product boosts and discovery ads in the Shopee platform.
Our approach that helped with our objectives:
- Optimize the Shopee store from top to bottom, make sure that the product listings are well-written and implement call-to-action copies.
- Add branding on the product images of the client. Quality product images can help.
- Insert thank you notes, stickers, and freebies into product packaging. This encourage positive testimonials from the customers.
- For chats, reply on the client's behalf since the chat response rate % plays a huge role in getting the preferred seller status.
- Make sure that the fulfillment rate doesn't go down on what was required.
- Keep the product listing up-to-date to avoid checkouts of products not available in stock.
- With a limited budget to work on discovery ads, we made sure that we ran a campaign for products that are best-sellers. On average, we utilize the budget for 3-5 products only per month.
Campaign results:
- Store achieved its first million in sales in less than eight (8) months.
- Currently, the Shopee store already has 1.9 million total sales in 1 year and 2 months of setup and management.
- Discovery ads campaign results to steady increase in Direct ROAS (GMV over Expense) in the last six months from 4.0+ to 6.0+
