Having a chance to work with Canva, a graphic design leader is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we could not pass on. We got hired by the client to provide help on their logo design tool and stock photo collections to increase its online rankings and visibility.

Approach:

GOBIGGR started the campaign by assessing and identifying the landing pages and the keywords assigned for the project.

Tools used:

Buzzstream for Outreach - As an enterprise client, buzzstream is our go-to outreach campaign tool for this project. It has all the metrics and information needed to collect and email prospects.

Link Prospecting - Our solid process built through years of experience in outreach and link building. We are free to use our process of collecting prospects as long as we deliver what is required for the project.

Findings:

As a graphic design giant, Canva was already used by our target prospects "educators". When they got an email from us, they are elated that someone from Canva reached out to them and they felt validated for recommending our tools to their peers and students. In turn, these became link opportunities, unlinked mentions and listings converted into valuable links.

Execution:

• Collect valid link prospects based from the project requirements
• Since we are using a domain email provided by the client, we needed to approach everything with diligence. We personalized most of our emails to connect to our targets.
• Be accurate on describing the logo tool or other tool pages being used on the email outreach campaign.
• Collect unlinked mentions (link reclamation) of the client and convince people to link to the site or the tool mentioned on their page or list.

Results:

• Top-notch backlinks from high authority target blogs and educational institutions.
• Partnerships with Educators who are using the client tools already.
• Rank pull from 3rd page to 1st page of Google SERPS for keyword "logo design tool".
